SHIPPING POLICY

1. Shipping Carriers
We ship within the United States using major carriers including UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
International orders may ship via a variety of carriers depending on destination, service level, customs requirements, and product type.
Carrier selection is at our discretion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order total, product weight and dimensions, destination, and selected shipping method.
We may offer free shipping promotions for select products, order thresholds, or geographic regions. Free shipping offers apply only to qualifying items and shipping methods and may be modified or discontinued at any time. See Section 10 for full details.
3. Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days. During peak periods or high order volume, processing may take up to 5 business days. Business days exclude weekends and U.S. federal holidays.
Note: Processing time is separate from transit time. Your order confirmation will include an estimated ship date.
4. Transit Time
Transit time depends on the shipping method selected and destination. Continental U.S. ground shipments generally arrive within standard carrier ground timeframes. Expedited shipping options (if selected at checkout) affect transit time only — not processing time.
We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather disruptions, customs delays, or events outside our control. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.
5. Title and Risk of Loss
All purchases are made pursuant to a destination contract. Title and risk of loss transfer to you upon delivery to your shipping address as confirmed by the carrier.
Once delivery is confirmed, we are not responsible for loss, theft, misdelivery due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, or damage occurring after delivery.
Package marked delivered but not received? Contact the carrier directly to initiate a claim. Carrier contact information will be included in your shipping confirmation email.
6. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Please double-check your address before placing your order — address changes after an order is placed cannot be guaranteed.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you may be responsible for reshipping costs and any additional carrier fees incurred.
7. International Orders
International customers are responsible for all costs and requirements associated with importing goods into their country, including:
• Customs duties and import taxes
• VAT or equivalent local taxes
• Brokerage or customs clearance fees
• Any additional charges imposed by local authorities
These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost unless explicitly stated at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, and we cannot predict or advise on the amount of duties or taxes you may owe.
8. Freight Shipments
Certain larger systems (such as EWOT equipment) may ship via freight carrier. Freight shipments differ from standard parcel delivery and require your attention at the time of receipt.
Freight shipments:
• May require advance appointment scheduling with the freight carrier
• Are typically delivered curbside only (the driver is not responsible for bringing the shipment inside)
• Must be inspected by the customer at the time of delivery
Important: You must inspect your freight shipment at the time of delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Failure to document damage at delivery may limit or void your ability to file a damage claim. If you notice significant damage, you have the right to refuse delivery — please contact us immediately if you do.
9. Shipping Insurance
Unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase, shipments are not automatically insured beyond standard carrier liability coverage, which may be limited.
If you would like to request additional shipping insurance, please contact us at hello@onethousandroads.com prior to your order being shipped. Additional insurance options are subject to availability and may involve an additional charge.
10. Free Shipping
Free shipping, when offered, is subject to the following conditions:
• Applies to qualifying products only (as indicated on the product page or at checkout)
• Available only within the continental United States unless explicitly stated otherwise
• Uses standard ground shipping — does not apply to expedited, freight, or specialty delivery methods
• Cannot be combined with other shipping promotions unless stated
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free shipping promotions at any time without notice.
