Brad Pitzele

Entrepreneur, advocate, and founder focused on cellular health, oxygen therapy, red and near-infrared light therapy, mitochondrial function, microcirculation, and recovery.

Brad Pitzele is the founder of One Thousand Roads, a wellness technology company focused on helping people improve energy, resilience, and recovery through Exercise With Oxygen Therapy (EWOT), red and near-infrared light therapy, and practical wellness tools.

He has been featured on podcasts and media platforms discussing mitochondrial health, oxygen therapy, red light therapy, microcirculation, and recovery optimization.

Brad holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Health Journey

Before founding One Thousand Roads, Brad spent years navigating complex and often debilitating health challenges, including chronic Lyme disease, cancer, autoimmunity, and co-infections.

After pursuing both conventional and alternative approaches, he focused on cellular-level recovery: oxygen delivery, mitochondrial energy production, red and near-infrared light therapy, microcirculation, and inflammation response.

Today, Brad is both a survivor of these conditions and a proponent of helping people build resilience, energy, and long-term recovery through targeted wellness technologies.

One Thousand Roads

One Thousand Roads is the latest expression of Brad's passion for helping people solve difficult problems. The company was built around the idea that there is no single path to better health — only the road that works for the individual.

The company focuses on practical technologies that support cellular function and recovery, including EWOT systems, red light panels, near-infrared light therapy, and wellness tools designed to help people make informed decisions about their health.

Brad's goal is to make these concepts easier to understand, easier to evaluate, and more accessible to people navigating chronic illness, low energy, poor recovery, or long-term wellness challenges.

Earlier Work: Disability Advocacy

Brad's health work is not the first time he has gone deep into a problem that became personal. Before One Thousand Roads, his major passion project was disability advocacy.

After his daughter Brianna was born with Down syndrome, Brad became involved in efforts to change financial rules that limited opportunity for individuals with disabilities.

He played a pivotal role in the passage of the ABLE Act, legislation supporting financial independence for individuals with disabilities. The ABLE Act is widely recognized as the most significant disability legislation since the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Across both advocacy and health, the pattern is the same: Brad sees a problem that matters, goes deep, and works to build something useful for others.
